New sports medicine facility opens in Dublin

A new €75 million ‘world-class’ hospital that brings together the expertise of consultants in Orthopaedics, Diagnostics and Sports Medicine in a purpose built clinic was officially opened this week by Lord Sebastian Coe, Chairman of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Located at Santry in Dublin, the 130,000 sq ft. SSC is a medical centre of excellence for people of all ages affected by musculoskeletal injuries. This includes major joint replacement, specialist sports medicine clinics and rehabilitation programmes.
